Visualisation is a really powerful tool to help your mind connect to something you desire and imagine it happening. When you create an image in your mind and can attach a positive emotion to it, your subconscious mind will come up with creative ideas to help you achieve that goal.
That’s why you’ll sometimes experience really random ideas in the middle of the night, when driving or in the shower, those times generally when you can’t write something down! This is your subconscious mind having the opportunity to help you achieve your goal.
I’ve recorded a future self visualisation, which you can listen to here (it’s episode 211), to help you create an image of a future successful version of you, so you can regularly tap into the frequency of the you who has achieved something incredible. If you can start to regularly visualise this version of you who has hit a goal, achieved something or is celebrating something, then your subconscious mind can work to give you creative ideas to achieve that thing, and in regularly visualising yourself as this version of you, it’ll keep you moving forwards and focused on what you wish to achieve. You won’t always know the steps or the how, don’t let that hold you back, they will become apparent.
It’s also worth noting, that when you visualise, you don’t need to be able to hold that visualisation for the entire duration, or all day. Short connections to the image, when combined with a positive energy and emotion (such as excitement, joy, love, compassion, enthusiasm or optimism) is enough to keep you connected to it. That positive energy is what is going to help attract the circumstances, situations and opportunities to help you achieve what you desire.
When you’re clear on what you wish to achieve, your mind will then start filtering things to bring more awareness to what you desire. This is why, if you’ve ever wanted a new car, you suddenly see the car everywhere! Or if you wish to travel to a certain destination, suddenly everyone is going there. The car and the holiday are no more common or popular, your mind just has a heightened awareness of them now, and is trying to show you opportunities it thinks might help you achieve what you desire.
When you achieve the thing you desire, whether it is a personal goal, business goal, money goal, fitness goal or any other thing you’re working towards, you will experience a positive feeling; that’s why we work towards things. In order to achieve what you’re working towards, you need to get yourself into that energy and vibe first, this is when you will then be am energetic match for the goal! Visualisation is a great way for helping you regularly get yourself into that positive energy to manifest your desires!
If you can visualise yourself hitting a money goal, and you can tap into the feelings of abundance, gratitude and excitement, which you expect to feel when you hit the goal, you will then attract and manifest the opportunities to help you achieve your desire. It might be that you get a random inspired idea to launch something new, or you might put yourself forward for an opportunity you might have avoided before. Either way, your mind will be looking for ways to help you achieve your money goal.
